During his career, Mr. Stewart has personally examined tens of thousands of individual items of evidence.  These requests for examination have come from numerous sources, to include; state and local agencies, federal agencies (e.g. Federal Bureau of Investigation, Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Central Intelligence Agency, State Department, Postal Service, Security and Exchange Commission, Customs Service, Air Force, Navy, Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, and others), and foreign governments.  On several occasions he has examined cases involving international disputes between governments. 

He has testified as an expert witness in state, federal and military courts of law, as well as in foreign court systems to include; Austria, Australia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Canada.  He has also testified at The Hague in the Netherlands and three times before the U.S. Congress.  

He has been an instructor or guest speaker for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, United States Air Force, Office of Special Investigations, United States Secret Service, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Drug Enforcement Agency, International Law Enforcement Academy (Budapest, Hungary), Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Rochester Institute of Technology, Montgomery College, Antioch School of Law, George Washington University, Inspector Generals Office - Health and Human Services, Bolling Air Force Base, Virginia Military Institute, UCLA, Catholic University, and U.S. Department of State.
